For the Love of Jacob Guild was established in April of 2003 in memory of Jacob Alexander Perkins. Jacob was a loving 5-1/2 year old boy who died of viral encephalitis at home before his doctor was able to diagnose the disease. His family benefited from the Journey Program, a grief therapy support group, provided through Children’s Hospital. Through Jacob’s love for everyone he met, and for our love for him, it is our mission as a guild to raise funds for Children’s uncompensated and under compensated care, Children’s research on infectious disease, and Children’s Journey Program.

The Jarisch family were our guests of honor at our 2008 auction.  Our angel pin that year was designed after Logan (on dad's shoulders).  Pictured below they are receiving the dedication pin.

Jacob's grandpa Don (purple coat) decided to run a crayon drive at his work to support "Operation Crayon" what a huge success! Pictured below.
